Everyone has herd of superstars, the sporting event for the sporting celebrities that has run since the 70s. They even did an Olympic 2012 programme.

Brian Jacks was one of the competitors and if you know anything about martial arts then you will know that he won Britain’s first judo medal at a world championship in 1967 and then in 1972.

He was one of the most successful competitors in the superstars avents, Jacks dominated the British and European version of the contest from 1979 to 1980, winning four titles.

We at empire have put together a superstars charity event were competitors will test there skills (some of which will be martial arts based) against each other.

The events are:

Press ups as many in one minute
Sit ups as many in one minute
Squats thrusts as many in one minute
Turning kick as many in 1 minute
Overhead kick (a jumping scissor kick)
Flying side kick.
